How to Install FCPX Effects

Using Russell Kent Nicholls Effects for the first time

With Final Cut not running, unzip the effect and place the 'Russell Kent Nicholls' folder within Motion Templates > Effects. The Motion Templates folder is commonly located in your local Movies folder.

Adding Additional Russell Kent Nicholls Effects

With Final Cut not running, unzip the effect and place the name of the Effect (for example 'RKN Super 8 9x16 Single' within Motion Templates > Effects > Russell Kent Nicholls > Film.

How to Install FCPX Adjustment Layers

Unzip the download and place the folder 'RKN Adjustment Layer' within Motion Templates > Titles.
